The short answer to this question is no. However it's much deeper than that as Churches, prayer centers, and things alike all serve a purpose and you can find God in those areas. God is in those areas and we would never tell you not to go to an area of worship. We support churches and their ultimate purpose.
On that same note, you can absolutely find God without going to those areas. It's important to remember that God is in all of us and he never leaves us. To "find him" is to simply look within and speak with him directly.
I remember in my younger years of feeling the pressure that the only way to heaven was through a Church. Many times, churches can also put the pressure on their members to go along with this annotation inadvertently.
Let's dive deeper into that. How many times have you felt the guilt within because you missed a Sunday Service? Better yet, how often have you seen Church members tend to give you the judgmental gaze for missing services? We're here to tell you this isn't the way and as humans, we're not placed here to judge each other or be cruel. Yet, why does it happen? Especially in a place that's considered Holy.
The truth of the matter is that none of us are immune to our negative thoughts and harmful views we have in our minds. Even towards our own members of Church. It doesn't make us bad humans, it just means we need to work on being more aware of how we make others feel. The first step towards that is understanding that God is everywhere and just because a fellow church member missed service or stopped going doesn't mean God is not with them. Many of us are angels on this Earth and don't or haven't attended Church.
So the question becomes, how can I become blessed and/or find God outside of Church?
The better you treat you fellow brothers and sisters (all humans, not just relatives) determines how we're judge in the End. You can go to Church religiously and it doesn't mean you'll have a guaranteed seat in Heaven. Some of the more hurtful people that we encounter tend to go to Church faithfully. Your church (or worship center) doesn't reflect how kind or loving your heart is.
Keep your heart kind and display gratitude, worship only him directly, and love always. If you do these things you'll have a seat in heaven. Regardless of your past, trauma, church (or no church), he loves you always and just wants you to enjoy this world for what it is and to love. It's truly that simple.
We all know this and we hear it always but yet, many of us don't practice it. Many times, we'll tend to put all of our faith in our Preachers, Pastors, Church as a whole, etc... We don't realize when we're doing this but many times we'll have harmful things happen in our life and we instead turn to a human as communication to God. This isn't good or bad but there's a much better way to talk to him and that's directly within yourself.
Yes, pastor serves as a vessel of communication to him (like our company) but he/she is not meant to be worshipped or the only path to God. If they tell you this, it's a lie and you should leave this church/person immediately. Instead, find a church that puts God first.
Your path to God is a personal journey that is unlike anything of the world that we see. It's truly magical and beautiful once you open your heart and pay attention to him and him only. He is everywhere and is everything. You'll understand more as you grow your heart and soul within.
Remember, we're here to help so feel free to reach out to us and let's talk!
We love you and God loves you. ♥️
